Valve has dropped the vowed reward to its Left 4 Dead 2 community upon playing through the ‘Cold Stream’ downloadable content challenge. The new update is mainly for the campaign component, with Dead Air DLC being offered for play via Steam. Though, it’s the beta.
The good news is that Valve said they’ve done more than just adding a few batches of melee weapons to the campaign, teasing that they “made some changes to the 4th and 5th maps of the campaign.”
The developer has also hinted at some makeovers to the Scavenge map.
The Dead Air DLC hits Xbox Live later this summer.
