Yuppie!! I am sure most hardcore PC gamers would have had a more similar or manly expression outburst after hearing this news. Ubisoft’s Dark Messiah of Might and Magic has finally gone gold and should be avaliable in stores on October 27th, 2006. The much awaited action-RPG based on Source Engine is finally out.

"Ubisoft, one of the world’s largest video game publishers, today announces that Dark Messiah of Might and Magic is now gold and will be on store shelves from 27th October, 2006.

Developed in conjunction with Ubisoft, Arkane Studios (single player) and Kuju Entertainment (multiplayer), Dark Messiah of Might & Magic puts players in a first-person perspective, allowing them to encounter ferocious combat within a dark and expansive fantasy environment.

Powered by an enhanced version of the award-winning Source Engine created by Valve to power its Half-Life2 video game, Dark Messiah of Might and Magic allow players to immerse themselves in an environment that responds and envelops them like never before, thanks to the Source Engine’s exceptional technological enhancements in areas such as character animation, advanced AI, real-world physics and shader-based rendering."
