After EA’s deal with Legendary Pictures for a Mass Effect movie, the project went into the darkness of space since then, with very little information, if at all, pinging back to earth.

However, that might change soon. According to GameFront, Legendary Pictures will be holding a Mass Effect: The Movie panel on July 22 during the upcoming Comic Con, featuring scriptwriter Mark Protosevich and BioWare’s Casey Hudson.

It is not clear what exactly the panel will be speaking about, although we hope to know more about the story (well, of course, it has a scriptwriter onboard!). More importantly though, we also hope to know the final star cast so we can b**ch and whine about why a particular actor is not suited for the role. That’s always fun, isn’t it?

The San Diego Comic Con will be held from July 21 to 24.
