Globally dominant app crushes its way to Microsoft’s mobile platform.
Rovio and Microsoft have announced that mega-popular app Angry Birds is finally available on the Windows Phone 7 platform.
The mobile developer has launched its globally dominant bird-flinging application on Microsoft’s WP7, which was perhaps the only platform left without the pig-crushing title. Well, until now.
“At last. Angry Birds is now available in the Windows Phone Marketplace—a few hours ahead of schedule and so fresh it hasn’t even been rated yet,” commented Microsoft’s Michael Stroh.
Angry Birds for WP7 will set you for $2.99, with free trial also being offered in the Zune Marketplace.
