The Brits have hailed to the King last week, placing Gearbox’s and 3DRealms’ Duke Nukem Forever at the no. 1 position in the UK weekly sales charts.
The high sales have shown the might of Duke’s popularity, even despite getting bashed from possibly every media outlet (except us). While the PC version sits at a decent 76% on Metacritic, the 360 and PS3 are faring much worse with 50% and 62%, resp.
In terms of sales, about 56% of the game’s sale came from the Xbox 360 version, while the PS3 version sold 30%, and the PC version just 14%. Duke Nukem replaces L.A.Noire at the top after a good three week streak.
Here are the top 10:
- Duke Nukem Forever
- LA Noire
- Zumba Fitness
- inFamous 2
- LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean
- DiRT 3
- Brink
- Red Faction: Armageddon
- Call of Duty: Black Ops
- Portal 2
