Sony has outlined a new major update for Polyphony’s celebrated sim-racer, Gran Turismo 5.

The new update v1.10, which isn’t particularly directed to address only what of a few bugs and glitches left in the PS3 exclusive, it however adds a bunch of extra other content and features that indeed will enhance your sim racing experience.

As mentioned on the official PS Blog, the update adds an online event prizes mode, new racing gear, new music track, an easier way to save progress during long racing events, and a simpler way to purchase parts.

Also, the much-criticized AI is being addressed in the latest update, as Polyphony Digital expanded the search range of opponent AI by adding improved intelligence algorithm.

Patch should be applied the next time you boot GT5 while connected to the Internet.
