LightBox confirms Starhawk beta
Sony’s exclusive getting a beta this year.
Responding to a whole lot of questions from fans over the PlayStation Blog regarding Warhawk’s successor, LightBox president Dylan Jobes has pledged the community that a beta is being prepped for the future, without giving any further insights at the moment.
“Can’t talk about the BETA just yet but I assure you we are all excited to get people playing the game!” he said to one reader, while replying to another: “There will be a BETA but we just can’t talk any specifics right now – stay tuned to the blog for more info!”
Scheduled for a 2012 release, Starhawk was recently revealed, with tons of details being disclosed on the long-awaited sci-fi blaster, such as the new ‘Build and Battle’ system, as well as the introductory of a single-player campaign for the first time in the series.
