Debut gameplay video for Square’s forthcoming RPG.
Square Enix has revealed the first proper info on the forthcoming PSP role-playing title, Final Fantasy Type-0, during a Dissidia Duodecim: Final Fantasy battle tournament held in Japan.
The hefty showcase has met with a lengthy presentation on Type-0, where attendees were treated to a well over twenty-minute of live demonstration.
According to Andriasang, game producer Hajime Tabata started up the demo, and highlighted the following five pre-arranged slots:
- The basics of the game
- A fight against a powerful enemy
- A look at multiplayer
- A look at some of the challenging missions that require multiplayer (these aren’t needed to clear the game)
- A look at the air ship that you can control yourself
- He then goes through each slot in succession.
Final Fantasy Type-0 is scheduled for this summer in Japan exclusively for PSP. A western version has yet to be confirmed by Square Enix.
