Sony cuts down on resources after title launches.
Sony has confirmed a Kotaku report on a number of employee layoffs at SOCOM and MAG developer Zipper Interactive.
According to multiple sources, around 33 developers were passed the pink slip.
A Sony spokesperson said that the layoffs was a “normal business practice and a result of cutting back on production resources after the launch of two major franchises.”
