Namco Bandai Level Up: Next Tekken is a CGI movie, trailer outed
Full-length feature film Tekken: Blood Vengeance set for this summer.
The next Tekken isn’t playable. Namco has just announced that a fully CGI film out of its fighting franchise is set to arrive to your local cinemas this summer.
Titled ‘Tekken: Blood Vengeance’, the 90 minute computer-generated film apparently takes place between the events of Tekken 5 and 6.
“There was a Tekken movie before from Hollywood but please forget about that“, Tekken creator Katsuhiro Harada (jokingly) commented.
From constructors of Resident Evil: Degeneration CG movie, Digital Frontier, Tekken: Blood Vengeance is also scribed by famous Cowboy Bepop writer, Dai Sato.
During the Dubai showcase, Namco displayed a teaser showcasing snippets of the incoming Tekken film. Unsurprisingly, it is as groundbreaking as its series’ trademark CG sequences.
