Mass Effect 3 gets delayed to Q1 2012
And the delays begin…
Every year, a gamut of triple-A titles are revealed and announced for the Nov-Dec block, which slowly start to peel away to the next year as the Holidays begins to get jammed with every developer trying to cash in on the festive spending moods of gamers. It seems we have our first victim already, albeit a highly surprising one.
BioWare has announced that the much awaited action-RPG Mass Effect 3 has been delayed to Q1 2012. The news came via the official Facebook page, with executive producer Casey Hudson delivering the bad news.
“Today we have confirmed that Mass Effect 3 will be released in the first three months of 2012. The development team is laser focused on making sure Mass Effect 3 is the biggest, boldest and best game in the series, ensuring that it exceeds everyone’s expectations.”
While we all like a polished up game, no one likes delays as well. Especially not when it concerns the most anticipated game of the year. Oh well, guess it’s time to catch up with Mass Effect book series.
