Sony Online has announced that it will soon merge its servers for DC Universe in order improve queue times (better performance we assume).

The servers will be merged to form four ‘super servers’ and will be distributed to each platform – PC and PS3 – in Europe and the US.

The new system will be tested from next month, and if they find it to be working without it being prone to cyber attacks (sorry, couldn’t resist – this part was made up), the official merger will follow soon. Sony did not commit on the timings though it said the project was its “top priority”.

DC Universe Online launched for PC and PS3 in January this year.
