New Assassin’s Creed game revealed by mistake
Facebook goof-up reveals all.
Ubisoft had a ‘oh snap’ moment yesterday when one of its Facebook staff mistakenly triggered off the new Assassin’s Creed game on the game’s official page.
While the wall post was removed immediately, members of NeoGAF proved to be too quick for them and have managed to post several screen grabs of the leak.
The post invited to gamers to help reveal an “exclusive look at the upcoming Assassin’s Creed game” and featured an embedded flash file (which is still on Ubisoft’s servers, and can be watched below) which revealed the title of the next game – Assassin’s Creed: Revelations.
Ubisoft had planned to announced the next Assassin’s Creed game in May, so it seems someone was too eager to roll out the information. It is likely we will see more of the game at E3 this year after next month’s announcement.
