Rumor: DS Lite discontinued
Internal memo from GameStop says current DS Lite stock won’t be replenished anymore.
GoNintendo are reporting that they have received a picture of an internal memo first sent to GameStop which appears to have some info regarding the production process of Nintendo’s DS Lite.
According to the memo, the DS Lite has been seemingly discontinued and current stock will not be replenished anymore.
While Nintendo’s move might not be surprising, the DS Lite packed some interesting features beside the affordable price in the DS family, such as the ability to plug in your old GBA cartridges and play your good old favorite collection.
Current news comes right after Sony’s decision this week to cease production for its PSPgo handheld. Stay tuned for an official confirmation from Nintendo.
