Super Street Fighter IV 3D K.O’s to one million units
Becomes the first 3DS title to reach the milestone.
It seems any concerns of over simplified controls for the 3DS for Capcom’s Super Street Fighter IV 3D was just waved off by players, as the title has now haduken’ed past sales of one million units.
“In capturing both new fans and longtime fans of the series, we were able to reach the one million unit mark for this title,” Capcom said in a press release statement.
This makes SSF IV 3D the first Nintendo 3DS title to reach the 1 million mark.
Oh and just in case if you were wondering what the current overall sales for the entire franchise has been so far, Capcom has got that covered for you: “As of April 12 2011, the series as a whole has shipped over 31 million units on home consoles worldwide.”
