SOCOM 4 dev diary video shows solo campaign
A more cinematic experience is promised in the upcoming squad-based shooter.
Zipper Interactive has sent out a new developer diary clip for SOCOM 4, their latest installment in the third-person tactical-shooter franchise, showing off some squad-based solo experiences in the shooter’s campaign.
The three and a half minute video shows the story side of the tactical-shooter. It sees you go through a civil conflict in South Asia, where you control the leader of a Special Forces unit that got detained in the middle of the foreseen war. Zipper Interactive is promising a “more cinematic narrative” than previous SOCOM installments.
SOCOM 4 is due out exclusively for PS3 on April 20 featuring full support for PS Move’s Sharp Shooter peripheral and stereoscopic 3D.
