The PSP version of PS2’s famous Japanese role-playing game Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 3 launches in Europe on April 29, publisher Ghostlight has announced.

Developed by Atlus Games, a PlayStation Network version of the acclaimed RPG is expected to roll on the same date as well.

European publisher Ghostlight said on its official blog: “I am delighted to tell you that that the release date for Persona 3 Portable is *drumroll* the 29thApril. So remember to book the time off work, buy in the ready meals and teach the dog to walk itself.”

Persona 3 Portable is an enhanced remake of the PS2 release Persona 3 – it features a tweaked story, different social links, a superior battle system based on Persona 4 and a new playable character. The PSP version will be released as a special collector’s edition which features a 48-page hardbook art work, an A3 poster, a slipcase and other fragments.
