Official minimum and recommended PC system specs required to run CDProjekt’s forthcoming RPG The Witcher 2 has been finally revealed.

While the game looks hot, PC gamers will be able to max it out on a Quad Core CPU and a good old Nvidia Geforce 260 graphic card.

Recommended specs:

* Processor: Intel Quad Core or AMD equivalent
* Graphics Card: Nvidia GeForce 260, 1 GB memory / Radeon HD 4850 with 1 GB memory
* Memory: 3 GB for Windows XP / 4 GB for Windows Vista and Windows 7
* Hard Disk: At least 16 GB of free space

Minimum specs:

* Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo 2.2 GHz or AMD equivalent
* Graphics Card: Nvidia GeForce 8800, 512 MB memory or ATI equivalent
* Memory: 1 GB for Windows XP / 2 GB for Windows Vista and Windows 7
* Hard Disk: 8 GB for the game installation and 8 GB for bonus materials

The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings, which is due out just under 2 months from now, doesn’t seem much demanding on the hardware side – players who had the original title won’t possibly have too much trouble running it decently on the same setup.

Other than his excessively biased enthusiasm toward gaming, and technology behind the whole industry, there's a huge fondness inside that drives him nuts to pick up his keyboard and start writing for the love of it.
