Nintendo 3DS Hands-on
The 3DS arrives in all its blazing glory. Price and launch titles detailed!
I know a lot of you have been eagerly waiting for the 3DS since it was announced at last year’s E3. Now, for the first time ever, we’re going to have a Nintendo console being officially distributed as the system gets launched in US and EU. So no more black market importing, no more paying exuberant prices. We’re going to get the Nintendo 3DS by the end of this month (US launch is 27th March and EU launch is 25th March).
So here’s the nitty gritty, the 3DS will be sold by Active Gulf FZCO. The Middle East will be getting the NTSC version which will include a 220v power adapter.
Here’s the best part, the 3DS will retail for AED 1,099 which is slightly more than US retail price but still cheaper than UK retail price.The 3DS will be available at Toys R us, E4U, Computer House, United Bookstore, Costless Electronics, Jacky’s Electronics at launch.
Launch titles are as follows:
-Super Street Fighter IV
-Rabbids – Travel in time
-Lego Star Wars 3: Clone Wars
-Asphalt 3D
-Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell
-Combat of the Giants Dinosaurs
-Nintendogs and Cats – Golden Retriever
-Nintendogs and Cats – Toy Poodle
-Nintendogs and Cats – French Bulldog
-Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Shadow
-Pilot Wings Resort
-Steel Diver
-Rayman 3D
-Super Monkey Ball.
Each title will be sold for AED 169, but Street Fighter IV will retail for AED 179 instead.
