3DS developers should ‘stop slacking’ – Street Fighter producer
Developers should start making good games rather whining, says Yoshinori Ono.
Street Fighter IV 3D Producer, Yoshinori Ono has implied that developers who criticize the Nintendo 3DS capabilities should shut up and rather focus instead on creating decent games.
The producer didn’t reveal particular names, but he told the Official Nintendo Magazine that he has heard some developers making negative remarks about the 3DS’ competencies. Ono believes he created the best looking handheld game to date in Super Street Fighter IV 3D, and emboldens developers to stop moaning and follow Capcom’s lead.
“I’ve heard some pessimistic comments on 3DS capabilities before the launch from some game creators but they obviously have not seen Super Street Fighter IV 3D or Resident Evil games on the 3DS,” Ono told ONM.
He further acclaimed the extensive features the mini device packs, specifically the 3D function.
“When I first had the chance to see 3DS I went over the moon three times because of the 3D vision, hardware spec and the extensive network utilities.”
He added: “With Super Street Fighter IV 3D you will see the best yet graphics on a handheld with specially tuned shaders and effects. I also think those game creators should stop slacking and just start making good games rather than whine about the tools given!”
