16-years old Philadelphia teenager, Kendall Anderson, confessed in court to murdering his mother after she punished him and confiscated his PlayStation.

Kendall admits, as read in the court confession, he attempted several times to murder his mother, Rashida Anderson, during her sleep by attacking her with a claw hammer.

When the hammer attack failed to kill her, Anderson told detective Thorsten Luke, he dragged her down stairs and tried to cremate her in the kitchen oven and ultimately beaten her to death with a chair leg, before hiding her corpse behind the house. He later reported her missing, and then confessed to Philadelphia Police Department.

Kendall was unsurprisingly put on trial for the murder of Rashida Anderson, and following his mother’s death. He expressed remorse for the crime and said in the trial “If I could, I would not do it again. I really miss my mom . . . she was the only person who cared for me.”
