UK charts: LittleBigPlanet 2 outperforms all
Mass Effect 2 re-enters the charts, LittleBigPlanet 2 crushes all.
Media Molecule’s innovative user-generated platformer LittleBigPlanet 2 has entered the UK top chart of all-formats at number one for the week ending January 22.
The game went straight to the top charts just two days from its release, knocking off Activision’s notorious shooter Call of Duty: Black Ops a step down into the second spot.
BioWare’s sci-fi-role-playing game Mass Effect 2 once again re-enters the chart as a result to the release of PlayStation 3’s long-awaited version, standing at number seven. Mass Effect 2 succeeded to reach the second spot in the PlayStation 3 top charts, and again trampled by MM’s LittleBigPlanet 2.
