According to a report from the Los Angeles Times, a third game in the Modern Warfare series is coming this November.

LA Times reports that Activision has recruited Sledgehammer Games, the studio currently working on the next unannounced Call of Duty title, along with an outside help from series’ developer Infinity Ward.

Report states that both studios (Sledgehammer and Infinity Ward) are equally sharing the single-player development duty. However, Raven Software, the developer behind Singularity and X-Men Origins, is reported to be working on the online multiplayer component of the game.

It was assumed lately that Sledgehammer is setting its own Call of Duty spin-off and rumored to be a futuristic space adventure game. However, due to the departure of numerous Infinity Ward staff, Activision decided to put the project on hold, and finish Modern Warfare 3.

Activision didn’t publicly announce the new Call of Duty title. However, the publisher stated that a new game is coming later this year.

Other than his excessively biased enthusiasm toward gaming, and technology behind the whole industry, there's a huge fondness inside that drives him nuts to pick up his keyboard and start writing for the love of it.
