A 23 year old man and his friends in Clemson, South Carolina, decided to give Frogger a real-life attempt directly into oncoming traffic in the four-lane highway this week.

Unfortunately, the man was struck by an SUV as a result and was later taken to a hospital in Anderson at around 9pm on Monday local time according to authorities.

Frogger is an arcade game, where players direct frogs to their homes. They should avoid cars while crossing a busy road and navigate a river full of hazards.

Police stated that before he was hit, the man was discussing the game with his friends before he yelled “go” and wildly jumped in front of oncoming vehicles.

The name of the man who was struck has yet to be revealed, and of course no charges are expected against the driver. The 23 year old man is doing fine and was in stable condition last night.
