Prototype 2 confirmed for 2012

To kill a monster, you must become one.
Well this wasn’t much of a surprise. Prototype 2 was yesterday announced at the Spike TV Video Game Awards.
Developed by Radical Entertainment, the game will follow Sgt. James Heller on his hunt to destroy the first game’s protagonist, Alex Mercer.
The reveal trailer explains Heller’s motivations and also features substantial gameplay footage towards the end.
The game launches in 2012. No release platforms have been confirmed, but PS3,360 and PC would be a safe bet, considering that the original game appeared on all three platforms.
