twofour54′s video game academy to open in 2011
Announcement to be made in January, courses to start in September 2011.
In an interview with Middle East Gamers at the Dubai World Game Expo, Wayne Borg, COO of twofour54 revealed that announcements about their video game academy will be made in January with classes officially starting in September 2011.
“We’re anticipating announcing it (the video game academy) in January with one of the world’s leading game publishers. We hope it will be a catalyst in kickstarting the gaming industry in the MENA region,” said Mr. Borg.
He adds, “We’re in the process of setting up the academic curriculum and getting the gaming academy set up. We’ll look for our first intake of students at the start of the next academic year – that’s September next year (2011),”
