EA registers SSX: “Deadly Descent” domains

Is the series making its long-awaited return?
Perhaps the strongest evidence of a new SSX installment emerged yesterday, as it was revealed that EA has registered a number of domains in relation to “SSX: Deadly Descent”.
Spotted by eagle-eyed Twitter user Superannuation, the domains registered are as follows:
- DeadlyDescent.com
- DeadlyDescents.com
- SSXDeadlyDescent.com
- SSXDeadlyDescents.com
- SSXFirstDescent.com
The snowboarding franchise first debuted in October 2000 on the PlayStation 2. The most recent iteration, SSX Blur, released exclusively on the Wii in 2007.
There has yet to be an SSX title to release on the Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3.
