Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit (Xbox 360/PS3/Wii/PC/iOS) – Out 18th November, 2010

Criterion Studios of the Burnout series fame deliver one of the most loved (and recently hated) racing game series of all time, giving it a much needed boost of adrenaline as they bring back the NFS: Hot Pursuit name. From the recently released demo, the Street racing side of things feels like pure old school NFS games, while the Cop Chase sequences play out much like the recent Burnout games. A perfect blend of both worlds some would say as exotic cars get T-boned and crushed or otherwise left in the dust. New to the series this time is a huge social networking push with the “Autolog” system whereby the game constantly keeps you in touch with friends and their best times, pushing you to do better.

Epic Mickey is something unique, in that it's something never seen before. Ok maybe Okami's gameplay (using brush as a core gameplay mechanic) was similar, but this is a dark and twisted Disney world. AC3, outside of the multiplayer aspect is nothing that much of a jump than AC2.

    That's why AC3 was 6th.
