First Impressions

My reaction is

New month, new paycheck, new games to spend that hard earned money on. As we near the end of the year, it’s to take a quick look at the top 5 games of November 2010 (in no particular order) that are worth buying.

GoldenEye 007 (Wii/NDS) – Out 5^th November, 2010

The remake to one of the most coveted FPS games in history, GoldenEye 007 takes us back to the roots of the game revolutionized the genre. This time though, you’ll be seeing Daniel Craig instead of good old Pierce Brosnan. The story, written by the same guy who also worked on the script for the original film back in ’95 ensures that the new game is up to speed in terms of technology and plot continuity over the past decade and a half. The game was built from ground up for the Wii, more than just a homage to Nintendo on whose N64 the original GoldenEye was such a hit.

Seriously, no assassins creed or donkey Kong?

Epic Mickey is something unique, in that it's something never seen before. Ok maybe Okami's gameplay (using brush as a core gameplay mechanic) was similar, but this is a dark and twisted Disney world. AC3, outside of the multiplayer aspect is nothing that much of a jump than AC2.

That's why AC3 was 6th.
