Released earlier this year on Blu-ray, the God of War Collection is set to release digitally on the PlayStation Store, Sony has confirmed via the PlayStation Blog.

The Collection consists of the remastered and PSN Trophy supported ports of the the first two PS2 titles in the series, God of War and God of War II.

The games, priced individually at €17.99/£13.99 each or as a bundle at €29.99/£23.99, will be available to download on November 3.

The file size for each title will be approximately 9GB,  although bonus material and extras from the original Blu-ray re-release will not be included.

To quote one Mr. Shigeru Miyamoto (creator of Super Mario and Legend of Zelda), "Video games are bad for you? That's what they said about rock and roll."
