MAG, the multiplayer-only shooter from Zipper Interactive, is to be updated to include support for the Playstation Move “later this Autumn”. In addition, a brand new beta program for existing MAG owners is also imminent.

Writing on the PlayStation Blog, Senior Community Manager Jeremy Dunham said that Move compatibility was added to the game fairly quickly and would “ensure that players of any type — be they hardened veterans or new recruits — can enjoy a shooting experience unlike any other”.

The beta client, which can be downloaded from the PlayStation Store next week, will allow users to test a range of new additions including a new game type, new weapons, an updated skill tree with an improved progression system, more character slots and an in-game economy system where “credit points”, earned from completing objectives and killing enemies, can be used to purchase new weapons and gear.

Dunham added that fans can expect plenty more announcements on new content over the next few weeks.
