PAL/NTSC and Region free??? im super duper confused Rate Topic: -----

I know .... im retarded
i own a NTSC U/C Xbox 360 and i want to get red dead redemption and on playasia's regional compatibility list it sais that it has no region protection
does this mean i will be able to play the PAL version of RDR on my US/CANADA NTSC Xbox 360?
and im sorry cause i know questions like this probably get asked alot but i went to alot of electronics stores in dubai and everyone said its IMPOSSIBLE for PAL games to work on an NTSC xbox 360 i also talked about regional compatibility and no one had a clue what i was talking about. so im just trying to double check before i spend 269 on a game i might not even be able to play ever :(
